Today LaborSoft announces that it will release LaborForce 8.7, an upgrade to its cloud based Employee Relations and Labor Relations Case Management solution.The upgrade will be available Monday 12/12/2011. LaborForce 8.7 will provide customers with many new capabilities that include:

Hospital Corporation of America recently selected LaborSoft's cloud based Employee Relations and Labor Relations software to manage its Labor Relations caseload. HCA will be using LaborSoft across the country to manage union grievances, analyze labor relations activity, and centrally store incident & grievance documentation. After extensive evaluation HCA selected LaborSoft for its speed of implementation, and low cost of ownership.  HCA also selected LaborSoft's centralized cloud based system because its architecture encourages collaboration and ensures consistency across the organization.

HCA is the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, a company comprised of locally managed facilities that includes about 164 hospitals and 106 freestanding surgery centers in 20 states and Great Britain and employing approximately 183,000 people.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation recently selected LaborSoft's cloud based Employee Relations and Labor Relations software to manage its Labor Relations caseload. After extensive evaluation MDOT selected LaborSoft for its speed of implementation, and low cost of ownership. MDOT also selected LaborSoft's centralized cloud based system because its architecture encourages collaboration and breaks silos within the organization.

The Massachusetts Department of transportation is made up of 4 divisions, Highways, Mass Transit, Aeronautics, and The Registry of Motor Vehicles.

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission recently selected LaborSoft to manage its Employee Relations and Labor Relations cases. The Commission evaluated a number of products an choose LaborSoft for it ease of use, rapid implementation, low cost of ownership, and its centralized document storage. Working in the cloud improves Employee Relations effectiveness and fosters collaboration among HR professionals.

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is a bi-county agency empowered by the State of Maryland in 1927 to acquire, develop, maintain and administer a regional system of parks within Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, and to provide land use planning for the physical development of Prince George's and Montgomery counties. It is composed of stream valley parks, large regional parks, neighborhood parks and park-school recreation areas. LaborSoft recently upgraded LaborForce 8, its cloud based Employee Relations & Labor Relations software with enhanced system administration. "As an end user application, it is important that administrators within Employee Relations and Labor Relations departments be able to manage passwords, and change HR policies and collective bargaining procedures without IT or LaborSoft assistance" say Phil Doherty CTO at LaborSoft.

The latest version is currently available to all LaborSoft customers.

Florida Power & Light Company is the largest electric utility in Florida and one of the largest rate-regulated utilities in the United States. FPL serves approximately 4.5 million customer accounts in Florida and is a leading employer in the state with more than 10,000 employees.

FPL will be using LaborSoft across the country to manage union grievances, analyze labor relations activity, and centrally store incident & grievance documentation.

The latest transportation system to select LaborSoft as their Employee Relations & Labor Relations case tracking and labor reporting provider is the nation’s second largest public transportation system, The Chicago Transit Authority.

After an in-depth evaluation by the CTA Employee Relations department, LaborForce had been identified as being the best product for labor case tracking, grievance management, and labor analytics.
 
The Chicago Transit Authority is an independent governmental agency which began operating in 1947. It now employs a highly unionized workforce with over 11,000 employees and over 10+ individual bargaining units. LaborForce will be utilized to streamline the dispute resolution and grievance procedures, which can be as high 40 per week. Their previous process for managing this union grievances was through a combination of PC databases, paper files, and an HRIS solution that lead to a bottleneck of information. In conjunction with Maryland Transit, LaborSoft has been asked to present at The Transit Labor Exchange in Phoenix Az. Comprised of Labor Executives, The Transit Labor Exchange wants to learn how Maryland Transit is using LaborSoft's Labor Relations Software to manage union grievaces, control labor costs, and provide timely workforce analytics.
